Reposting to clarify the issue

DNN 10.01.01 default Aperture theme

I have added users via the registration process, authorized them, and added "Registered Users" to the "Members Area" page and copied permissions to dependent pages. I have also disallowed the everyone role. When I log in to the site as a registered user, the "Members Area" menu item does not display, and if I access it directly, I get redirected to the access denied page.

Here are my settings. What am I missing?  Here are my settings....FYI, this works in my 9.x sites

You're an MVP!

You need to simply leave Everyone in an unchecked state.  By disallowing Everyone, this rule will win.  "Registered Users" and other roles are part of "Everyone".  😉
