.webp image format

I see in the web.config the following;

<remove fileExtension=".webp" />
<mimeMap fileExtension=".webp" mimeType="image/webp" />
 
so as long as I register .webp in the accepted file formats list as far as DNN is concerned thats all that
needs to happen to use that image format?

There are 2 more places where you might need changes.
1. In Settings - Security = More - More settings, you need to have webp registered as allowable file extension
2. For some extensions, you might need to activate the file extension as well, like in EasyDNNNews, for instance.
