Site Wizard Module

Started By  Joe Craig
If you've ever used the Site Wizard module, then you know what a wonderfully useful tool this is, even though it's not one used on a daily basis. When DNN 9.x was developed and the Persona Bar replace the Control Panel, some labe brained idiot decided NOT to move the Site Wizard to the PB, or even just freaking leave it as a page under Site Assets as was done with the Digital Assets Manager. The bottom line is that an irreplaceable funtion was removed without much thought. So ... ...

I’ve been migrating our Intranet into DNN and I decided to test out many of the modules you have listed in the Extension Library.  All of them are awesome (I’m looking at you DNN.Events and BBQuery) but I just set up the Forum and it’s incredible.  I work for an Interlocal, so we are responsible for County, Property Appraiser and City applications.  It’s not only difficult to keep people on the same page but to make them feel like they are on one team. I believe this will be a game changer for u...

Outstanding Support

Started By  WhatsHerName
I bought a Contact Form Builder module from Dnn Stores created by DNNDeveloper.in.  The module is excellent and just what I needed but I had a problem with css clashing with my site.  I have to say the support I have received from Jitendra the module developer has been outstanding.  Speedy, efficient, and more than helpful.  Thank you.

ASP.Net Wizard Control, DNN 9.6.1, and .Net Framework 4.8

Started By  Joe Craig
I have some code in a DNN custom DNN Module that uses and ASP.NET Wizard control. It runs just fine in an old DNN 8.0.4 but, when compiled against DNN 9.6.1 it has trouble keeping track of steps, and ultimately fails to progress correctly through the Wizard's steps. Does anyone have any advice about this

HTML Module

Started By  Jesse
We recently upgraded an old DNN site to the latest version (9.8.00). Everything has been running fine for the most part, but today I have ran into an issue I can't figure out how to resolve. One of my users dropped an HTML module on the page but we can not get it to display outside of edit mode. I have tried adding an HTML module to other pages as well to see if it was isolated to an individual page, but it's doing the same thing across the entire site. I have tried all of the following things t...

Reservation module - auto sent old booking confirmation

Started By  sypa
we are using DNN v 9.6.1 Reservation module: 7.3.3 Today our Reservation module - automatically sent out thousands of old booking confirmation emails messages. Dating back 3 years to about 6 months ago. We're still investigating and not sure why this has happened. Has anyone had this issue before It seems odd how this has happened suddenly and we're not aware of any outlook service that could have done this. It has never happened before. Only that has happened recently on the DNN cms is ...

Privacy resource

Started By  willem
In DNN you can use /privacy for your privacy statement. It's a control/ascx and the content is loaded from the Globalresource.resx WCAG 2.1 doesn't accept this and privacy should be a page in stead of a control. So we added the page 'Privacy'. Is there a way to load the privacy content from Globalresource.resx on this page.. Maybe a small module that can load the privacy text

.NET framework used between website and custom extension

Started By  blades614
I hope someone can clarify this for me. I'm running an ASP.NET website in IIS (DotNetNuke to be exact). I also have a module that is installed on the site that was custom built. My IIS web.config specifies a 'targetFramework' of '4.5' (under the system.web/httpRuntime element). My custom module was built with a target framework of '4.7.2'. When the custom module is loaded by the website, is it now running under the .NET 4.5 framework because that's what the website's web.config was targ...
