Live Visualizer Permissions Issue

Appreciate help from any Live Visualizer users on a permissions issue that seems cache related.

We give someone add/edit rights to manage content and the rights are not applied unless we clear server cache. The edits rights then work, but only for the duration of that session. The user logs off and returns and has not edit rights, again unless we clear server cache.

I posted this on the Mandeeps formum, but there is so little activity there, so I figured I'd ask here. We've tried every cache setting we can think of. Thank you.

Hello John, I do not know about Live Visualizer as that is a Mandeeps module but I saw on their forums that you use DNN 9.3. That version is now 6 years old, it is from Apr 3, 2019. You should upgrade to the latest version in the 9 series which is Release v9.13.9 · dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform · GitHub. What you see could be a caching issue in an older version of DNN.

Thank you, Mariette. The upgrade is on our calendar but things in our organization move very slow. We're a large, global non-profit with an all-volunteer staff and few skilled resources. I hope we can get to the upgrade soon.

Mandeeps says Live Visualizer runs on 7.3+ but I'm sure you're right. Appreciate your response.
