We upgraded our website to DNN 9.8.0 and when I try to Save the Site Settings I get this error:

Dnn.PersonaBar.SiteSettings.Services.SiteSettingsController - System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): The UPDATE statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_Portals_PortalGroups".

Please help?

it only occurs when saving the Default pages tab:

You might want to check the release notes for 9.8.0. They were updated yesterday and the upgrade instructions were "upgraded."

On the "Portals" table there's a foreign key: FK_Portals_PortalGroups

I can't find out if this FK should be there (default DNN) or can I delete the FK_Portals_PortalGroups?

I would compare this with a fresh install of DNN

Have you implemented portal groups with a module that does that?

So, what was the solution? Since we ran into the same issue...

Isn't the answer in the previous reply?

(The user had installed Turbo Scripts in his DNN installation. Apparently the upgrade to DNN 9.8.0 required an upgraded Turbo Scripts.)

If you are not using Turbo Scripts, you have a different problem.
