Hello Community,

We recently upgraded our DNN platform from version 9.11.0 to 9.13.4. Initially, after the upgrade, everything seemed to be working fine. However, after rebuilding the solution or after some time, we started experiencing issues:

  • The DNN page modules are not loading correctly; available modules are not appearing.
  • Eventually after some time, all DNN menus disappear from the interface.

I attempted to re-upgrade DNN, but even after multiple attempts (3-4 times), the page modules still do not function properly.

  • Sometimes, I can see the page list in the panel, but when I select a page, DNN displays the message: "No page is currently selected."
  • At other times, I receive a "You don't have permission" message.

Additionally, I checked the user modules, which initially worked after the first upgrade, but after subsequent re-upgrades, I encountered the following issues:

  1. Error: "Procedure or function Personabar_GetUsersBySearchTerm has too many arguments specified."
  2. Error: "Procedure or function Personabar_GetUsers not available."

It appears that the stability of this version is questionable, and these issues are affecting our workflow.

Could anyone please advise or guide me on how to resolve these issues? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. change to "Inconsistent page behavior is confusing us to figure out a fix. Could it be permission issues/stored procedure not updated during upgrade? Has any one experienced similar issue during upgrade? Any pointers to help us navigate to right direction would be highly appreciated. "

Thanks

Did you 'unblock' the Upgrade package you downloaded before you unzip that?

I would start by using the suggested upgrade path, this has been more tested by many. https://docs.dnncommunity...rade-path/index.html

So I would start by restoring the backup and upgrading directly to 9.13.9 to see if that works better for you.
