We encountered some layout issues in DNN 10.1.0. Mostly in the edit/admin screens (module settings etc)
The colors, tabs and layout are not as it was and we are using a theme that worked perfect in DNN 9.13.9
It's not alined like you want it to be default.

Anyone else experienced the same issues in DNN 10.1.0

We now need to consider whether DNN 10 is ready for production or whether we should wait until all the childhood illnesses are resolved. DNN10 is ready for production, right? What do you think?

The team usually ensure the security with a release is good. In that context I think we can say it's ready, however with a version upgrade form 9 to 10 there are going to be fringe elements that need to be looked at. I presume this is CSS? Try and find out what is causing the problem and report it on the issues. Without knowing your problem, I would assume the issue is with a module or skin that needs to be tweaked to make it fit the new version.

The issue I have seen is that the Persona Bar styling changed.
One can change the CSS variables to adjust the styling of the Persona Bar, but since generic CSS variables are used and the Persona Bar is inside an iframe, it's not as simple as it might seem.

  1. One cannot override CSS in an iframe from the Theme (without using JS).
  2. If you change the CSS variables for the Persona Bar, they are changed everywhere else they are used.
  3. Obviously, I wanted to take it further than just changing some colors… :-)

You can find me experiments here: https://github.com/40fing...0-DNN10-PB-restyling
There's an animated gif at the bottom that shows the difference.
