I sucessfully upgraded our DNN site to 10.2.1 from 10.1.0. I'm now trying to upgrade to 10.2.2 using the new method here:
Login as a SuperUser (Host) and navigate to: Settings => Servers => System Info => Upgrades. Click on "Upload Package" and upload the previously downloaded upgrade zip file. The system will validate the upgrade package and warn about potential issues if detected.
When I go to Settings => Servers => System Info => Upgrades there is no "Upgrade Package" option.
Can anyone help with this? Is is possible to upgrade using the previous method?
Thank you for the response. This is my problem, I did update to 10.2.1 (I skipped 10.2.0 as the upgrade path said I was fine). But I don't have the option to "Upload Package" under the new method to upgrade. (Settings => Servers => System Info => Upgrades. Click on "Upload Package")
For reference, here's what I'm seeing:
JMD - given your situation, my only suggestion is a bit of a hack or test. Download the upgrade package, so you have the file
DNN_Platform_10.2.2_Upgrade.zip
locally. Then copy it directly into your
WEBSITEROOT/App_Data/Upgrade
. Reload the page and see if 10.2.2 upgrade appears in the PersonaBar panel as expected. If it does appear, how to kick off the upgrade might not be obvious. To the left of the row's Delete icon, there is a very tiny icon of foot prints. Click that to proceed or apply the upgrade. This might get you through the upgrade process, but I have no idea whether or not doing the 10.2.2 upgrade will fix your missing "Upload Package" button. Also note, this Upgrade tab went from idea to bare-bones implementation very quickly I suspect it will get some TLC over the next few DNN versions. I started a Discussion about some basic improvements if you are interested. https://github.com/dnnsof...orm/discussions/7004
I am using Edge. I went ahead and tried Firefox and got the same issue. I'm going to try Jeremy Farrance's suggestion next week and see what happens. I will keep you updated.
Ok, I was able to upgrade to 10.2.3 using Jeremy Farrance's suggestion. Here's what I see now. I'm not sure if it is correct or not.
You got it, for the lack of styles, there was an issue with post-upgrade cache-busting. If you clear your browser cache, it should now display fine.
