Localhost install - upgrade fails Started By Betacam I have never seen this before. New machine so I set up IIS and SQL as normal. I can install 8.04 but any attempt to upgrade to advised next version fails with an Object cannot be null. An attempt to install 9.8 also fails but much earlier in the install process than the upgrades. At 34 clean and 68 upgrades. No logs so que pasa SQL express 2019 .Net on my machine says 4.5 but if I attempt to install 4.8 windows says already installed. Creating mirror instance of a DNN site on another server Started By Jerod Brown After the managed.com issues we have had clients asking about the option to have a mirror instance of their sites on a separate failover server that would be accessible if the pimary server was down. We had discussed this once before with Managed and were told that we would need a full version license of SQL on both servers to be able to sync the databases constantly for any changes on either the primary or the failover. Backup for managed.com Started By Worth Robbins I am victim of managed.com's extended outage. I have backups from before when they went down, and I have a spare tower with an old version of Windows Server. I am thinking about configuring it and installing ~5 DNN sites, putting it on a static ip I own, and operating that way until managed.com comes back (if they do). Deploy DNN in kubernetes platform Started By Bruce li Hello Evevryone! Now Windows is supporting kubernetes platform. I am doing some tests to deploy dnn9.0 in a kubernetes platform. The kubernete version is 1.14. I am using ingress to access DNN. Everything is working well before enabling TLS in ingress. After we enabled TLS in ingress, I am not able to login DNN using Chrome ir FIrefox, but it works with IE11. The DNN will be stuck on Login page or Register page. Moving a database... Started By Peter Schotman - 40Fingers A client of mine moved his database to another server (I believe it is Azure), but now the site triggers a upgrade/install cycle, luckily this is unsuccessful since there is no install script. Has anyone seen this BTW When I try to connect to this database from the sql console (I can do this because both connection strings are in the web.config) all seems fine, I can run select and insert queries, so it seems to me that there is no problem in reaching the database... Install and build DNN source 9.7.2 Started By Philippe Dear Sir, I install the DNN source 9.7.2, rebuild the solution with visualstudio 2019 and create the website following instruction, after the view of website give error on file not found for skin files. The xcillion skin folder under DNN Platform\website\portals\_default\skins doesn't exist. I also noted a new website folder created by the build at the same level of the folder DNN Platform. Manifest file issue during install Started By Srinath Vall Hi, I am installing multiple modules to the website y packing them in zip file and running the install url in dnn 7.4.2. Many of my modules are installed using a similar manifest file but one of it failed to install and says it can not find the files specified in manifest file, which are in the base file of zip specified in manifest.
