I just installed version 9.7.1 on a new site, and all seems to be working so far, but one issue I noticed is that in the tab at the top of the window where the title and favicon can be found, the following message follows the title; (Beta Version: 9.7.1.3)
How do I remove this? It is not showing up in the site settings, page setting, default.aspx or web.config files.

9.7.1 is a Release Candidate. And is should be marked as Beta.

      9.7.0 is the latest release.

Did you download from GitHub? Check the file name of the package that you downloaded. If the title includes "rc0001" than that is what you have.

My guess is that you need to go back and get the 9.7.0 package, and have a great day!

(It looks to me as if the team found some issues in 9.7.0 and are getting out some fixes promptly. Given that, I'd probably hold off on using 9.7.0. Instead, if you have the time to test the RC, have at it and report your findings to https://github.com/dnnsof...m/issues/new/choose)

Ok, Thanks for that info. How to I roll it back? Do I just do the upgrade process, or do I have to start over?

I would just start over. If it's a new install, there's nothing to roll back to.

If you have created a site, you can try exporting it with content, and then importing to 9.7.0, though I'd recommend 9.6.1.

It was a new install, so there was no content other than a welcome page.

Update, I went ahead and started over, all good now. Problem resolved, and I learned something new. Thank you Joe.

Why is the upgrade package download off the main portal 9.4.1 if latest is 9.7.0?

Where are you seeing this? Is this in your DNN installation, or somewhere else? What version of DNN is your installation?
