Have tried what seem the sensible things to do and the documentation is somewhat limited. Hosting multiple domains on single instance of DNN Started By rbinnington I am getting a bit too close to this and I need a dose of outside perspective. I am looking to host about 10 domains with a single instance of DNN. My current provider is allowing only 4. I know a good deal about IIS and a little bit about DNS. Pointing multiple DNS records to the same server should be a piece of cake. Then just add the site to DNN. How can I host 10 sites without getting charged an arm and a leg. Understanding how to use a DNN instance with multiple sites Started By Cody How does mulitple sites work for DNN CE since the users all share the same instance and there is no seperation between sites and users. If I register on one site it goes on all sites Users. Would that user then be able to log into all sites on the DNN instance I guess I am looking for a pretty clear understanding of how to allow or not allow users to log into different sites on a portal. SSL Management in DNN 9x Started By Duncan Ion Hi, I've installed HTTPS Everywhere onto my server and, when using the URL https://www.mydomain.TLD in all browsers, it works fine. The problem is in getting DNN to redirect correctly. In attempting to to use the IIS rewrtite [latest Microsoft version installed...], and adding the rewrite rule: '[rewrite] [rules] [rule name='HTTP to HTTPS redirect' stopProcessing='true'].... etc {[] replaces }' ... Google Page Speed & Composite JS position Started By Tony Stallan Hi All, While trying to optimise my site using Google's Pagespeed insights, it continually complains about elminating render-blocking resources from the HEAD. While some of the files it lists are critical css files, one file inparticular is the composite JS file that is in the HEAD. There is another composite js at the bottom which is not causing a problem I am wondering if all compsite js files could also be loaded at the bottom rather than in the HEAD. DDR Menu & No TabID in 9.4.x Started By Brent Wilson In the latest verison of DNN 9.4.1 there is no way to find the TabID in the pages admin area Problem: You need the TabID to locate the Node for the DDR to create vertical menus in Mandeeps Tahoe skin. CKEditor Height Started By David O'Leary A client is using DNN 7.4.2 and can't afford to upgrade to a newer version. The site was using the RADEditor but it stopped working recently and it seems from a security standpoint, should no longer be used anyway. So, I'm trying to get one of the CKEditors working but for both of them, the viewable edit area is one line or less. I've tried making lots of setting changes but none of them have worked. How to configure Cache-Control: no-store Started By Brian Dukes I'm working through the results of a security audit on a site, and the audit recommends setting the Cache-Control: no-store, instead of Cache-Control: no-cache which is sent now. This is supposed to stop pages from being accessible when using the back button after logging out.
