when i click on the Site Assets link in Manage, i am redirected to a page titled File Management. The page is greyed with a spinning progress bar which never disappears. is there a way to make this page work? I would propose adding a hamster to the wheel and allow bets for how long he can run before dying of exhaustion.
I am using dnn 9.6 as an upgrade from 8.3. I am using a skin from dnngo which is claimed to be 9.6 compatible - UnZip_DNNGo20047_Unlimited033_AllModules_7.7.0. however, I have noticed that this skin seems to be problematic and have asked dnngo about it. for example, I am unable to change the theme to xcillion. I use the dnngo skin as the default for the site. but even when adding a new page, and explicitly setting the theme to xcillion, I cannot do so, and it generally causes navigation problems. so there could be a relationship here between the dnngo theme and the Site Assets page. I will reply back on the logs.
PS - i see nothing in the Admin Log indicating an issue
well it gets interestinger and interestinger. I navigated to Global Assets which worked. I clicked a couple of folders then clicked Site Assets, and it all worked. I have no idea what resolved the issue.
The site assets not loading I have seen on site where the file structure in the database was corrupt. (that was on a site that strated in DNN 5, I have not seen it on newer installations) Or it can be that the Admin user does not have any rights on the root folder (also only happend on upgraded sites AFAIK)
