I exhumed a page from the trashcan. it had legacy modules and would not load or edit. so i deleted it again and then deleted it from the trash can. i created a new page with the same name. it loads. but when i attempt to edit it, dnn tells me that the page already exists and cannot be edited, generating an http 500 error. Default.aspx?tabid=639&error=An+entry+with+the+same+key+already+exists.&content=0.

from which tables do i need to delete this page (dnn 9.6)?

well it turns out that the answer was less complicated than i thought. i found that there were two wiki modules, one by dnn from versions long past, and a recent one by revindex. when i deleted the dnn version, my problems disappeared. so fwiw to those who encounter a similar problem due to upgrades, delete obsolete modules quickly. deleting their containing pages is not good enough.
