Hi All,

I have downloaded DotNuke from path https://github.com/dnnsof...nn.Platform/releases  and have installed version 9.11.0 on my local IIS. I was going through link https://www.dnnsoftware.c...le-based-access.html and found that many of the roles such as “Content Editors”, “Content Managers”, “Page Editors” etc.  mentioned in this link are not available in my installation.

  1. Are the missing roles mentioned above are available in specific editions?
  • If yes then which edition?
  • And is that edition free?
  1. I am not sure which edition I have downloaded. Can you please tell me how can I verify on which edition i am working?

In my current installation I have only following roles available

  • Administrators
  • Registered Users
  • Subscribers
  • Translator
  • Unverified Users

Regards

The link you quoted is to a paid for version named evoq.

I think it's reasonable to assume that their documentation might not apply to the free version.

Congrats on posting!
Richard is spot on with his response. If you want to have and use roles that perform the functions you've mentioned, you can create those yourself by creating them with the same name, and then apply permissions to the features in areas where it makes sense.
