A client is using DNN 7.4.2 and can't afford to upgrade to a newer version. The site was using the RADEditor but it stopped working recently and it seems from a security standpoint, should no longer be used anyway. So, I'm trying to get one of the CKEditors working but for both of them, the viewable edit area is one line or less. I've tried making lots of setting changes but none of them have worked. If I change the DDL below the editor from "Rich Text Editor" to "Basic Text Box" and back, then it is sized appropriately.

I've tried a couple different versions of the CKEditor plug-ins but all had the same problem: CKEditor-Provider_2.1.7.0, CKEditor-Provider_2.1.20.0, DNNConnect.CKEditorProvider_01.00.01.

Inspecting the source, I can see that the ehCurrentContent div is the offending control. After changing from Basic Text Box and back it gets a height of 550px but before that it is set to: style="height: 144px; overflow: hidden;".

Anyone have any ideas for what is wrong here?

As a short term work around, I added this to one of the stylesheets and that is working for now:

#ehCurrentContent {min-height:450px !important;}

AFAIK you can set the editor height in the editor configuration (link belove the editor when you are in edit mode)

The various height settings I found, including the Editor Height settings in Custom Editor Options, had no impact.
