I have recenty set up my DNN Platform for development and not sure how I locked all pages in edit mode, and when I click on right-bottom 'Edit' button does not get me out of locked mode, and cannot see any more the bottom bar with buttons to manage page settings and add modules.

Any know issue or smething please help to understand the use case with locked in edit mode.

See here the screen recording.

Try deleting all cookies for the site. It might help.

Also, clear browser cache and restart the application from the PB Server page.

Which version of DNN is this?

Is this a new upgrade? If so, from which version?

Check your browser's Console window to see if there are any error messages.

I had to reset the NTFS permission on an installation I moved a while ago, you could first try that.

I'm experiencing the same issue when logged in as host. If I click on the Persona Bar "Edit" icon (pencil in bottom left), it doesn't change anything. Hovering over the icon will show the "Click to lock Edit Mode" (blue) and clicking on text doesn't do anything either. The behavior is the same in Edge and Chrome. Switching to the Aperture theme makes no difference. I upgraded to 10 from 9.something, it was 2-3 releases before 10.0.

gbulicanu, the little pencil icon at the bottom left hand side of the screen should not be in blue color, if that icon is on blue color you must click on it again in order to disable the lock feature. If you try to exit the edit mode while that icon is blue it won't let you get out.

I see that happen occassionally, and it's often due to corrupted cookies and/or cache.  Clearing all cookies and cache, then grabbing a fresh page load normally resolves this for me.  It's worth clearing cache in DNN and any WAF you may be using too.

Thanks Marco. As far as I can tell, clicking on the icon doesn't change anything.
