I recognized that the (Standard) DNN Search returns pages that have an end date in the past. This might be OK for users with edit permissions for that page, but not for others (and esp. unauthenticated users) who get an "You don't have access to that page" error when they click on the search result - which is annoying.
Is that a known behaviour, or should I report a bug on GitHub?
Happy DNNing! Michael
Hi Michael,
This has not been logged as an issue, yet.
One quick check: did you make sure the scheduler runs fine? Theoretically, it could be the case that the reindexing is not happening. Another check to refine the problem is to check if it is returning pages that are for a certain role that you don't have access to.
I logged the issue to [Bug]: Search returns outdated pages · Issue #6213 · dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform
