The Future of DNN

Welcome to “The Future” — our dedicated space for sharing and discussing the next chapter of DNN’s evolution.

Here, you’ll find updates on new initiatives, technical previews, and roadmap proposals. Our goal is twofold: to inform the community about what’s coming next, and to invite your feedback and ideas as we refine and build new features together.

What to expect now — and later

  • The current focus of this page is the upcoming DNN MVC Pipeline, an ambitious effort to build a modern rendering architecture for DNN.

  • Our goal is to add MVCPL as an optional feature while ensuring full backward compatibility with existing sites. This will allow selecting the rendering pipeline per site and/or per page.

  • We encourage you to read the related blog post linked above, and to join the dedicated forum below to ask questions, share thoughts, or raise concerns.

  • Over time, this page will broaden to cover additional projects and developments beyond MVC.

Your participation is essential — the future of DNN is something we want to build with the community, not just for it.

Wow!
Huge respect for this brilliant idea!
DNN moving toward a true MVC architecture — this is an incredible step forward and a real leap into the future.

I like to think of myself as the Heisenberg of the DNN world (if you’ve seen Breaking Bad, you know what I mean 😄).
But instead of “cooking crystal,” I’ve been crafting code — developing a comprehensive and practical tool for nearly ten years, as my tribute to this beloved platform.

I truly hope this tool will also be a pleasant surprise for the DNN community.
It’s been built with a focus on modern design, high performance, and strong security, and it will be released as a completely free and open-source project.

The official release on GitHub is planned for early 2026 — stay tuned!

Could you please clarify which part of my post was considered spam? I genuinely intended to contribute to the DNN community — openly, freely, and in good faith. I'm truly sorry if it came across otherwise.

Your IP address is marked as suspicious, and this does not help either 'The official release on GitHub is planned for early 2026 — stay tuned!'. It would help if you can share your Github profile with us.

Well, you should realize we get a lot of spam posts.
You are a new user (on this site) and your profile is pretty much empty.
We have seen new users, that post "normal replies" and after a while appeared to be a spam user.
This made the post suspicious to us.

But if we made a false positive, sorry about that..
When you are ready to publish your contribution to the community (which we always welcome) feel free to start a new thread to announce it.

Congrats, your posts are really liked!
Another good option is to join us on the Discord DNN Community channel. There is an Invite right on the home page of this site.

The advantages are many: getting to know other DNNers, getting help with anything DNN, etc.
