Hi there, Major browsers have their native lazy loading without needing a third-party script. I have zero experience with DNN.
My question is, I noticed something that intrigues me on the home page's 3 featured blogs. The blog image has this attribute:
loading="lazy"
The header images and other images do not have a loading=lazy.
Q1 If I manually add loading=lazy to the image on the XSLT script, can this help improve the site performance?
Q2 Does anyone know how to improve the slider gallery? Anything on the Cache Settings?
Q3 I tested the loading=lazy method with Chrome. On the Network tab, what is the easiest way to tell whether those images with loading=lazy worked or not?
I appreciate your answer. Thank you, everyone!

I wouldn't use the theme on this site as an example of what you should do. It was built a long time ago and was never meant to be permanent. There are plans to replace it with another theme that would be a much better reflection of examples like this. 😊
Maybe take a look at the showcase websites.
Also, the way you do things in DNN are almost always no different than you'd do them in other platforms.
I am stuck with this site. Can you help me out with some clue to my questions?
Of course. As long as the question(s) is/are detailed enough to provide help. 😊
Most of the things you'll want to do are not as difficult to do as you might be afraid of. At the end of the day, it's just an ASP.NET application. 😉
