Hi all - still getting to grips with DNN. When I allocate a new role to an existing user DNN auto generates an email, telling the user that they can contact an email addrress should they have any difficulties. I can't see how the email is generated, and I want to change the message. Can this be done?
Thanks, Rich
Here is a short video that helps describe how to use the language editor to edit any static text in DNN (that's localized).

We should not forget to mention that you should not overwrite the original GlobalResourses file as this will be overwritten by the next update. To avoid this, choose either "Host" (for all portals in your installation) or "Site" (for the current portal only) from the Radio Buttons labeled "Mode" at the top of the language editor.
And just to be complete: When you don't want to send the email, there is a little checkbox on the screen where you assign a role to a user. Just deactivate it... Happy DNNing! Michael

You're going to find three language files related to Roles under this address whitin the Translation language file section in DNN,
"Local Resources -> DesktopModules -> Admin -> Security -> App_LocalResources"
Hope this saves you some time.
