HTML editor broken after upgrade to 9.6.1

    How big is the site? At this point, I'd be thinking in terms of exporting the site, and importing it into a clean install of DNN (and, or course, with all of the necessary modules and skins installed before importing).

    With some luck, for things that don't import you might be able to cut/paste.

      Size varies across the children sites that are having this issue. It looks prevalent in three of the sites we recently upgraded to 9.6.1: one has a decent page count, the other two are pretty small.
      I'm not sure if exporting to a clean install is an option. That would give the best bet of making sure things are corrected... but the site structure here is a bit monolithic and even taking the sites offline for the upgrade caused a lot of grief.

        I think I've discovered the issue. There was a second web.config file in hiding in the Providers folder of each install. The error wasn't apparent on the site I created the thread for, but after checking other sites they pointed in that direction. Removing it on a smaller site has solved the issue.
