I am looking for a way to collect the referral information (i.e. from a querystring) and add it to users table ie. User's profolio.

We have some service agents who want to add a Url in their sites that will direct their clients to our DNN site. The agents' identity ID will be included in the Url. When their client registered to our site, the agent’s ID is required to be added to the user’s profile.

During registration, option of verifying user is used. My DNN platform version is 9.10.2.

    Appreciate for any suggestions

First you will need to add a custom field to the user profile for your site.

I think that the next stip can be done most easily with DNNSharp's ActionForm module. DIrect the user to a page that contains ActionForm to collect the registration information, at the same time, you can populate a (possible hidden) field to store the querystring information. The, when the form is submitted you can register the user with all of the required information.

You may also be able to do this with Mandeeps' LIve Forms module, but I don't have enough experience with it to be certain.

Finally there are several ways that involve custom coding that would also do the trick. My guess, though, is it would be quite a bit less expensive to do this with one of the available modules.

        Thanks Joe,

Looks like the ActionForm could work for me. Hopefully the user verification and Recapture functionalities are available with it. Will download the module and check.
