New Around Here

    Hello,

I'm trying to configure our search results in DNN (v. 09.08.00) to exclude users.  I'm following the instructions at https://dnnsupport.dnnsof...nt-type-in-DNN-9-0-, but the options I have for "Results scope for content type(s)" are entirely different, and I don't have an option for users.  The ones I have are:

What would cause this difference, and are there any other options for excluding users?

    Thanks,
    Pam

Hello...  The additional options you see in the article are because those articles are created by DNN Corp by using their commercial Evoq product, not DNN Platform (the open-source version you're likely using).

The other thing that changes this is any third-party modules that are installed and are integrated into the DNN search API.  This is the listing you see on your own website.

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you really should upgrade DNN to the most current release.  Chances are always good that annoying issues like this are fixed.  (It also makes it way easier to upgrade over time when you don't skip.)

In DNN Platform 09.11.00, you have the following options available to you by default.

Whoops... My previous screenshot was only partially correct.  I had installed the Community Forums for testing before taking that screenshot.  So the "Active Forums" option is not there normally (unless that module is installed).  :)
