I created a new DNN Extension that is designed for serving Static Content generated by Static Site Builders such as jekyll and DocFX. The special feature to this module is it allows you to securely serve the content for intranet implementations using DNN Folder Permissions.
The static site will only render if the logged in user has permission to view the site.

I have an intranet I am building for software developers that is hosting internal API documentation. The documentation is easily generated through the Microsoft documentation tool DocFX (the same tool that generates the new community docs). The problem is since IIS is serving content, it will render any .html file and won't go through DNN. This creates a problem if you want to use a static site on any intranet and control access using DNN's built-in permissions.
