@Willem, I guess that is one of many things implemented to fight bots. Maybe this can be tweaked but the first issue was to ban bots as they were posting hundreds of posts and replies everyday.

I’m disappointed to say this is actually a bug in the latest forums version 7.0.7, where a line of code was dropped during a merge (as best I can determine). We are preparing another release that will fix it :)

Now that I'm back in the States, we'll be pushing out an official release that addresses this bug. I was trying to get it done before flying, but I wasn't able to finish testing the release.
