card swipe reader

Title says it - not looking for credit card swipes for payments, but an ID magnetic card stripe reader. Folks who attend an event will swipe their ID card, stuff gets picked up and stored in a db table.

Anything out there?

Not that I know if. But as an alternative, you could generate bar code on registration and print that and email that. At the registration counter you could scan with a phone. The bar code generator can be found https://www.dnnsharp.com/...s/barcode-generator. DNN Sharp also has the ActionForm and PDF add-on to take care of the entire submitform.

You'll want to find a hardware provider that includes an API component. Once you do, you can create an API connection between their hardware/software and DNN.
