Create a side navbar

I have a series of blog-like pages on my site. I'd like to create a unifying side navbar that links between these pages. Yes, they're in the top nav menu but it's unwieldy.

I know how to make a side navbar in HTML and CSS. What I don't know is how to have it sample some of the menu so that if I add new pages, it's always up-to-date. Any ideas?

Just drop a DDR Menu module into that column, and configure it to show the pages you want to display. A little CSS will style it any way you like.
