How i can change the Mail Function in DNN

    Hi, is any posibility in DNN to overwrite its default mail functionality with custom mail functionality.

        Hi Joe Craig, I have an registration form. When we are registered the email is sent to the registered users with username and password. I need to change that functionality and remove the password from email. Only the username will be sent to the user.

          The template for this mail can be changed in the translation editor. Go to Settings >> Site Settings >> Languages, and click the icon for the translation editor (I don't know whou found this mystery meat icon, but anyway...). Afair you find this in the Global Resources folder, either in GlobalResources or SharedResources.

            I normally develop my own custom DNN registration module because it will be more secure, because i interact it with the SMS OTP verification. 

            Better you can create a custom registration code which is much eiser and headacc free
