Dear readers, In the past (a long time ago) I was able to make a newsletter in the users module You could mark a group of users and send them an email. I cannot find this functionality, Is this not possible anymore Regards, Ton Hermes

Hello: where can we modify item templates?

A search directory on our site won't show all filterable options unless the user enters excess criteria. I can't figure out where this .ascx file lives though -- and I suspect it's the culprit. Thank you!

Setting up SSO with Azure AD

I downloaded the DNN Azure Active Directory Provider from Github and have been trying to set it up using the included instructions. However after following the instructions when I click on the login link on the website I get a 404 Error. Anyone have any suggestions

How to identify unpublished content

We recently moved from Evoq Content to DNN Community. In Evoq, there was a publish button at the bottom of the page that was visible when some content was not published. There is no such button in DNN Community. While I can see the advantage of being able to publish individual modules on a page, there is not a quick and easy way to see what is and isn't published.  While this is mainly a training issue, it is easy to forget to hit the publish button in the action menu.  Does anyone have a ...

SSL issue on MVC module - doesn’t support a secure connection on private window

I am facing SSL issue(Site not secure) when redirect to other pages using MVC Module. If we clear browser history and navigate to the page having MVC module having this issue. There is a MVC Redirect 'return Redirect('/');' method exists in that page load. But It's working on normal content pages. Could anyone helps me on this. The Site is hosted on AWS Elastic Beanstalk and site is server via AWS Cloudfront.

HTML Module "Version History" Pager Doesn't work

Running DNN Version 09.13.06 (0) with Xcillion Skin and Container. In the PortalSettings Table I increased the value for MaximumVersionHistory to 20 to keep more versions, but when I view Version History in the HTML Module that has more than 10 versions, the Pager doesn't work.  In the Browser Devtools I get the following error when I click on a page number in the Version History Pager: ScriptResource.axdd=dwY9oWetJoKm8KKlOpzPPyGu8HEVfp1zSa2qZjMYqGq71T6gP7hxfZggFQ7z27rlFZxj-TltR_eflw4nJDb...

Canonical Link issue

Hi, I am trying to optimize my site, but I am getting this error when I use SEO tools.     No canonical link tag is found on your homepage. I am getting this error for every page. Not only for the home page. I have upgraded my DNN website to DNN 09.13.4, which is still the same. I have added the domain name with www and without www to the portal alias.    Site Alias Mapping Mode Canonical Redirect I tried the above both options. But nothing works. Can you please help...

Default user icons missing for most users on most portals

For our super users we have the default profile icon shown  For everyone else we have the below, can I fix this so everyone on all portals shows the default profile, until they change it.

Search returns outdated pages

I recognized that the (Standard) DNN Search returns pages that have an end date in the past. This might be OK for users with edit permissions for that page, but not for others (and esp. unauthenticated users) who get an 'You don't have access to that page' error when they click on the search result - which is annoying. Is that a known behaviour, or should I report a bug on GitHub Happy DNNing! Michael
