Host Email Storage

Hello Community, Ok - I am having issues I believe is due to host email settings or DNN Malfunction. First of all I know DNN stores Host email in dbo.HostSettings table. And I have checked it - it is same as in smtp server settings. But the problem is somehow dnn is using my old setting as an email from when user resends verification, or I as host send user a reset password email. I have restarted app-pool in IIS, clear dnn cache in server settings, and restarted application many tim...

Verification Email Resend

Hello and thank you for your help in advance, I am testing a new site developed with dnn 9.7.2.  It seems that yahoo and gmail may be not delivering the verification email because I tested using another domain and it worked.  Hoping someone has a solution to this  I have tested smtp settings and it works. My module that I built sends an email with verification fine - but DNN only functionality just dosnt seem to send or Yahoo/Gmail is to blame for this

How to delete Subscribers role

Home page and Query String formatting

Hi All, I want to be able to pass querystring variables to my home page in this format https://mydomain.com/CODE/1234 However that fails and I get redirected to the 404 page This works https://mydomain.comCODE=1234 Anyone have any ideas how I can achieve this. Is there a site which has DNN Manuals - like version 9 for free. The site is nice - but nothing like pdf versions in my documents folder. DNN used to be on top of this - looks like they dropped the ball

Backup DNN file system. Compressed file appear larger than the source.

I'm trying compress all files and folders from the DNN website. Size of a DNN folder is about 3.7GB and there are lot's of small files, pdf, gif, etc. The problem that I have is the size of the output compressed archieve, it's about 13GB. The same for 'zip' and for 'rar'. Anyone know what I'm missing

Currently our Member Materials are displayed as a 'paper' list (https://www.ihpmi.org/ihp_memberMaterials), but I'm wondering if there is a way to add an image to the 'paper'.  I'd like the image to be a preview of the document.   Here's current HTML. I am open to alternate ideas for presenting this info, too.  My skills are limited to editing my pages. IHP Welcome Guide (Farsi/Dari) – June 2021 (PDF) Thank you for any suggestions.

login page not secure

We have just had a vulnerability identified on our DNN site. It is possible to get to our login page via http and not https. However we have redirects on the entire site to change http to https in IIS and in our dnn security settings we have SSL enabled so i'm not sure why its possible to get to our site via http when its not possible with ANY other page on our site

How to solve the secure flag cookie vulnerability?

Hello, I scanned my DNN website by the Wapiti and it found some vulnerabilities as below: Secure flag is not set in the cookie : .ASPXANONYMOUS Secure flag is not set in the cookie : Article72 Secure flag is not set in the cookie : LandingPage Secure flag is not set in the cookie : OriginalReferrer Secure flag is not set in the cookie : __RequestVerificationToken Secure flag is not set in the cookie : dnn_IsMobile How to solve those Thank you.
