Congrats on posting!

By default the HTMLProvider Editor is in a very tiny place in a very small Persona Bar.

Luckily the HTMLProvider Editor is also a module. So, I always create a page and drop the module there. That will allow for enough wiggle room to tweak.

That is a great suggestion. However it does not solve the problem, which I think is covered here https://github.com/dnnsof...Platform/issues/6860
Does anyone know if the 10.2.1 release include the fix for this issue?

Yes, it should be fixed by this PR in 10.2.1 https://github.com/dnnsof...n.Platform/pull/6865

I can update that the upgrade to 10.2.1 did not fox the issue. I am unable to access the settings for the Editor, either in its usual place in Site Settings, or on a dedicated page with the HTML editor management module on it. The Browser reports the page as unresponsive. The Please Wait Loading Options message just sits there and never completes.

Just tested locally on 10.2.1 and all looks good.

Did you check with default theme?

Yes and it made no difference. I note that my .NET Framework reports as 4.8.0. Any suggestions as to why?

I have looked in the site logs and wonder if this is an issue:

If it is connected, I don't know but Lucene has a problem :-)
Did you try :

  • reindex the search
  • turn off scheduler for search

?

Hi Tycho,

I think this Search thing is a side issue, but I went to re-index the Search and the Search | Basic Settings page would not load. I eventually remembered this site works through Cloudflare, so setting that to Development Mode allowed that page to load and I have started the Re-Index of the site.

None of this has impacted the original problem which is still there. In continuing to invoke this page via reloading the website I note that there are actually no Log entries associated with this action. This could be because such logging is not active.

Until this is resolved there is a lot of new content I cannot load as it relies on CSS Class definitions to format the data (especially tables) correctly.

As a quick short term fix, do you know you can also edit the CKEditor config file in the portal root?

Hi Timo, and thanks for your contribution to my issue.

By using ChatGPT; it is suggested that as DNNConnect.CKE dll files are not found in the /Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/DNNConnect.CKE/ folder, I need to re-install DNNConnect.CKE.

I am trying to locate where this exists in GitHub but failing.

Any suggestions where I go next?
