You could get them from the install package ZIP: install/providers/DNNConnect.CKEditorProvider_10.01.00_Install.zip

OK so it appears that according to ChatGPT I have a badly installed CKEditor Provider:-

The CKEditor Provider Config Manager cannot run without /config and /dialogs.
It will hang forever waiting for files that simply aren’t there.
This is why your UI is stuck on “Loading Options Page…”.

As this is now part of core DNN, what is my next move? This site has been upgraded over a number of years from early DNN9 to DNN10.2 so has there been some issue with the upgrade path (performed by DNN4less each time).

I have downloaded a copy of the 10.2.1 release file but in looking into it I see no reference to a /Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/ folder. So where are the CKEditor files?

I am now officially lost and do not know what to do if a reinstall won't fix this.

It is part of both the DNN install and upgrade packages, you can unzip either of them and you will find it in the /install/providers folder

As Daniel noted too, they are in the install folder.
I just checked (to be sure) and the file really is in the downloaded ZIP...

Thanks for the hint guys.

Now I am the stage where ChatGPT has suggested that Mandeeps Common library has caused an issue in removing the line
add name="WebApiModule" type="DotNetNuke.Web.Api.DnnWebApiModule, DotNetNuke.Web" preCondition="managedHandler"
From my web config.

Is it hallucinating?

I have reach the point where I am being asked to copy a missing DotNetNuke.Web.Api.dll file from the install package and place it in my website. However this dll file is not in the 10.2.1 Install package I downloaded from this website.

I am sceptical as how could my website run at all if a core part of DNN was missed.

I will take a break for now and think over where I have been taken.

In my experience, chatgpt is quite often wrong when it comes to DNN issues.

You are not wrong about ChatGPT but it has been of some help and interest.

I am now thinking the problem is not base DNN but EasyDNNNews. They have instituted their own editor rules on that.
