I use the events module latest version 7.0.7 But it appears that it uses telerik.

When I run the telerik removal extension it say that events is using it.

So is there another events manager that I have missed that removes the telerik  dependency.

As I understand it I cannot upgrade to 9.12 until I either remove the events module or replace it with a version that does'nt need telerik.

    Regards

First: You can upgrade to 9.12., no problem.

Yes, Dnn.Events uses the Telerik library, and this has been an issue for a while: Replace Telerik UI components by standard DNN version · Issue #85 · DNNCommunity/DNN.Events (github.com). Maybe a bit of sponsoring could help...

Depending on your needs you can replace the Events module by something else, if you have some HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills you can use a generic module like OpenContent or 2sic/2sxc. I found something here as well: Tech Polaju Events Calendar. This is very basic, lacks of localization possibilities, has some bugs (events can't be edited, just deleted and added from new, as the edit control does not load) and is hard to style... but it is Telerik-free, and if you just want to display a calendar with some events (without subscriptions, long descriptions etc...) it works.

      Happy DNNing!
