We upgraded most of our website to DNN 9.6.2. and I noticed a multilanguage issue.

We have a website in 2 languages: NL-NL (site default) and En-US
Normally when you add a new page the page is added in both languages but now it's only added in the default language NL.

Is this a bug, change or setting?

Willem,

what happens when you go to Page Localization? There you should find a button saying "Make translatable" or something alike. Does it work when you click this button?

Happy DNNing!

Yes there is a link/button to add the missing language and that works for now.

For the customer I need it to work as before. It should add the page in both languages by default.
I hoped it was a setting, but it looks like it's a bug/issue in DNN 962

Yes, scoot over to https://github.com/dnnsof.../Dnn.Platform/issues and create an issue for this.

I don't have a mult-language site for testing, but I'm wondering if "Make translatable" appears in the dialog when you create a new page.

Willem,

interesting thing is that it worked before.

I just had to add a page to a three-languages site in DNN 8.0.2 (yes, I know, needs an upgrade, but I am waiting for the developer of a custom module that does not work anymore...), and had exactly this behaviour. I never took care about this, but it might be just a setting somewhere...

Happy DNNing!
Michael

I noticed the same, I think it's a change.

I tested several websites and it really looks like a change in DNN 9.6.2
I haven't found a setting to change this...

This is pretty confusing for customers with more than 1 language... I will add the issue in github
