I think that the previous answers apply.

1. DNN itself is compliant.
2. Start with a Theme that is compliant.
3. Add modules that are compliant.

If you do all of that, then the only thing that will be non-compliant is your content. So, you will need to make sure that the content that you add is compliant.

One of the important reasons that people use modules that use structured content, including 2sxc and Open Content, is that they separate display issues from the actual content. So, the structuring of the data can help to make the end result compliant. They separate the content creation process from the display process. In this way content editors are not able to do things that render it non-compliant.

Thanks Joe!

I really like to add/buy modules that are compliant but how do I know that the module are WCAG 2.1 AA complaint.
For now I know most modules aren't compliant so if I don't have the source code how can I make them complaint?

I keep begging the vendors to make them compliant but I hoped there's another way...

1) Ask. A good vendor is one that will give you an honest answer.
2) Most also allow a short-term trial before you buy. You can test them ahead of time yourself.

I wouldn't waste time trying to make modules compliant. Without source code, there are no good answers.

https://obvio.dnngo.net/en-us/ claims to be WCAG compliant.
What parts of DNN Sharp do you think are not compliant? I can imagine that ActionGrid is not. But if you use MyTokens you can put it all in Razor and bypass ActionGrid and all the wrappers and clutter serves. Especially since it still uses BS3 it can drive you insane.

Most of the WCAG issue are in the DNNGo xblog and forms module... for DNNSharp it's the actionform module

DNNGo fixed most of the issues, but DNNSharp has other priorities (i think Plant an App)

on 1 july I got an update mail from DNNSharp:

The product team is researching WCAG compliance overall. I will keep you posted as our efforts progress.

I assume DNNsharp will fix the WCAG issue soon...
