Posted By LC_Web on 4/24/2023 7:48 PM Just upgraded also. 9.10.6 - 9.11.0 and persona bar is gone. Suggested fix did not work.
There is no DNN 9.10.6 release afaik...
Happy DNNing! Michael
Sorry. I meant Evoq 9.10.06. Anyway, I got it corrected following the remedy here: https://dnnsupport.dnnsof...string=digitalassets
OK, this is something else...
Anyway, this is the Community Forum, and you can find people here who are able to help with Evoq (sometimes). But you pay for Evoq support, so this should be the first place to go when you have issues (well, I know, they are quite unresponsive sometimes...)
Thank you, this fixed my issue as well, but i did have to remove the parameters from the link:

Thanks for letting us know, Mike. And, welcome to the community! 😎
Posted By Will Strohl on 1/17/2023 11:39 AM Also, try this if it happens again: Using the file manager or FTP (depending on access), navigate to the following folder path: /DesktopModules/Admin/Dnn.PersonaBar/Resources/. You should most likely see a single .resources file. Delete it. (Or save a renamed backup version of the file, if you want.) (Optional) Clear any server-level cache using your CDN/WAF, as necessary. Reload the website, using a hard refresh. The resources file should be regenerated and the persona bar should load again.
Also, try this if it happens again:
FYI, I tried this "delete the resource file" and let Dnn recreate it.
It did not work for me, and Dnn was restarted and there was no resource file created, etc.
If you (or anyone) has a working fix for dnn 9.13.9 then please LMK.
BTW, I tried pulling the full persona bar folder from a fresh download of the dnn source and putting that in my site-- no go.
Any help is appreciated.
Is there a way to force load an aspx or similar to show each part of the persona area-- I do not need the sweet js cascading menu-- one aspx for each menu item would suffice for us few admins on the site.
(Hoping for a simple, quick and dirty, brute force fix-- as I cannot "re-upgrade" or "run the install again" on this high-use prod site-- and note we are moving to dnn 10 as soon as the current project work is done on this site.)
Thank you.

Hmm, the fact that no resource file was created is weird. (What Will posted normally helps)
Did you check the log for net logs in "_default\Portals\logs"?
(rename the file of today to .bak and reload the site makes it easier to find what you are looking for)
Did you try resetting the NTFS rights for the folder where DNN located?
www Folder > Options > Security > Advanced > Replace Child Permissions
That sometimes helps, I have had weird issues that got fixed by doing this, but not this one TBH.
