DNN Summit 2022 Recap and How I Create My Presentations

This past DNN Summit 2022, I presented two sessions: “Tailwind CSS” and “Mega Menus with 2sxc”. I feel like they went really well overall and I saw a few people positively mention my presentations in DNN Community Slack as well as DNN SoFried’s Summit 2022 recap. So thank you for the mentions!

This has been my second time at DNN Summit, and the third time I presented a session. In this blog post, I want to recap a few of the things that I learned during this Summit as well as give you a high level overview of how I created my presentations.

David shows them in action in DNN!

DNN Summit 2022 Content Bounty Results

As you may or may not have realized, we at Upendo Ventures put up a content bounty last month. We challenged the community to do two things... First, create new content to help promote content related to DNN and DNN Summit. Second, we wanted all of you to spread the word to the rest of the community to help generate the content, but also simply to just spread the good word that is DNN. Here are the results of that bounty.

Additionally, there are updates about new releases and templates for DNN development.

Nov 2021 SoFri: Joe Craig & Intermodule Integration

Have you ever wanted to get data from a module and display it in ways that don't exist? Here I will show you one way that I have used code (tables, classes, and methods) from one module to create a somewhat different module view than envisioned by its developers. I will talk about (and maybe even demonstrate) ways that this approach can be extended to other modules.
