New Around Here

I see that there is no way to have two pages of the same name, but I am looking for a way to have two variations of a page for registered vs. unregistered users for security purposes. For example, how might I create a page called say "Client Page" that for unregistered users just displays general information, but have a page of the same name that has reporting tools etc. that are not accesible to the public? Ideally I want the menu to look the same whether or not you are logged in but the information on the page to vary.

One way would be to create only one page by that name, and put the modules on the page for both registered and nonregistered users. And then go into the settings of each module and set their permissions so that each module is only permitted to be viewed by the registered or the unregistered users. That way you have only one page, but it serves each group of users differently.

I do the same thing Mark says. One thing to add is that I recently saw a bug in 9.5 that is has been repaired in 9.6.1.
Adding a role "Unregistered users" to a module did not work for me. I did not dig into it deeper as the work around was: make 1 module available to registered users and block the other module for registered users.
