I'm looking for a module which allows users to upload documents.

I've tried 2 so far: Form n' List and Repository, but neither can do the simple job we need...

The Form n' List module only seems possible via adding a Rich Text HTML field (but we'd like a simple upload button).

The Repository module, I thought would do the job, but it shows all uploads to other users (we don't want users to have to login to upload documents). We'd like to allow annonymous uploads, but we don't want annonymous users to be able to see any upload - is this possible?

    thanks.

You could actually use the Digital asset manager for that.
Add it to a page, create a folder that allows users to upload and put the setting of the DAM to that folder as 'top' and I think you're done. If the use case needs to restrict access, you use a secure folder for that so uploads are not indexed by Google or approached by anyone who has a link.

Thanks Tycho, i shall look at Digital asset manager then.

Hopefully it is still supported (and free) :)

I was looking for something that would allow annonymous uploads, to save people from logging in, but this doesn't look possible with DAM.

If users need to login, I'll probably use the Repository module.

The Action Form module from DNNSharp has an upload field that would do as you asked.

You may want to try OpenForm too.  :)
