    Hi,

On DNN 9.11, after updating the username thrugh code behind I can't access the user information:

On previous version (9.2.0) everything worked fine.

There are no errors in the Admin Logs, the tables dbo.Users, dbo.aspnet_Users and dbo.aspnet_Membership are looking fine. Ofcourse, the user can't log in.

    Any ideas anyone ?

I think at some point the userrname became the emailaddress. So, that would be my first suspect.

        Tycho,

that is an option and in my case it is disabled:

Also, in [dbo].[aspnet_Users] there are no emails:

Well, beats me, now it works....I've done nothing.

Maybe there was some kind of synchronization in question?

I would suggest also double-checking your custom code to see if there are different and/or newer API endpoints/method signatures that you might want to use.  This may not be the root cause, but it's something to keep an eye on every time a new DNN version is released.

The endpoints are sometimes updated and/or changed.  When you build, you can see this coming many versions in advance by building and addressing any build warnings.

              Will,
              thank you for your advice.

I've found the problem in my code (damn copy/paste ha ha ha). As I previously had a procedure for changing the users email, I' copied it and left "UserController.ChangePassword(...". After changing it to UserController.ChangeUsername(... everything works like a charm.
