I'm trying to upgrade the DNN Repository module.
I've been on github: https://github.com/DNNCom...ry/wiki/Installation
but most of the files are about 2 years old: https://github.com/DNNCommunity/DNN.Repository
i've downloaded the clone URL file: https://github.com/DNNCom...epository.git -
I then zipped back up the repository files, but I get this error: ------------------------------------------------------------------------
An unknown error has occured. Please check your installation zip file and try again. Common issues with bad installation files:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure what the problem is because; the zip is only 432kb, I can't see how there can be missing resource files or invalid files as it's been downloaded direct from the site just now and nothing has been removed, it's a regular zip file and I am logged in.
I have previously gone from DNN v 9.1.1 to 9.3.2. The repository module was working previously in v 9.1.1, but since failed after upgrading to 9.3.2 - should i revert back to 9.1.1 and upgrade the Repository module first, before upgrading the Repository module?
It looks like there are no plans to upgrade the module, at least not in the immediate future. "The module releases are here https://github.com/DNNCom....Repository/releases latest release is 4.0.0 that was tested working on Dnn 9.2.x, there was 2 reported issues which I had no time to test/verify yet since I do not actively use this module."
If you really need to use the module, your best bet is to find a developer who is willing to take on the task.
