Error: is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Access to the path 'D:\Webroot\DesktopModules\Announcements\AnnouncementsView.ascx' is denied. ---> System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'D:\webroot\DesktopModules\Announcements\AnnouncementsView.ascx' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.SetAttributes(String path, FileAttributes fileAttributes) at Dnn.Module.ModuleCreator.ViewSource.SaveFile() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This is happening when we modiify a template and go to hit "save".  The other issue we are seeing is:

Had an error talking to the server (status 400).
Message: Specified module instance does not exist.

if you are an advanced user you can learn more about what went wrong - discover how on 2sxc.org/help?tag=debug

This happens when we go to hit "edit" the pencil icon on a 2sxc component in our header.  Very similar issues that seem to be related to file system permissions.  We don't want to set anything to world writeable and then dial it back - but that may need to be the approach.  Anyone seen this or have thoughts?

Did this use to work before? Can you confirm if the application pool identity user has full control of the site root directory replicated down?

This error and how it's happening doesn't make sense to me.  Did you build a 2sxc app that integrated with the Announcements module?
