FYI, Admin had an empty Persona Bar

    I am posting this here so users with the same issue can find the "fix".
    I was working on a (very old) DNN 9 installation which started as DNN 5.
    I noticed that in some portals.

    • Admin did not get to see the Persona Bar.
    • The Persona bar / control panel did not load.

    The Persona Bar did load for host users, and it also loaded on most  other portals in the same DNN installation.

    As you might expect this was due to a database inconsistency...
    After running this SQL:

    SELECT TOP (200) RoleID, PortalID, RoleName, CreatedByUserID, Status, SecurityMode, IsSystemRole
    FROM Roles
    WHERE (PortalID = 17) OR
    (PortalID = 0)

    I noticed that the Administrator Role on this portal (17) did not have the "IsSystemRole" settings set to 1.
    After I changed that and restarted DNN, the Persona Bar worked as expected for Admins on this portal.
