A portal can send out messages and notifications through the Portal email server.

Is there an integrated method to handle incoming emails to the host account?

At the moment the email server blocks all incoming, it would be good for users to simply reply to any outward message.

The host account in a DNN installation is not an email account.

Your best bet is to use the sending address or the reply-to address in any outgoing emails to insure that any replies go to a know address, and to make sure that address is monitored.

Most hosting companies will provide email accounts for addresses tied to the domain name of the site. So, you can set up accounts with the same domain name and use those.

I'm not aware of any DNN modules that monitor email accounts and store them in the website.
