Hello! We've noticed a few issues with Site Assets/File Management functionality on our last few installs (currently on v9.11.02).

  • Right clicking on assets does not allow for copy/paste of the image URL as it once did. (screenshot)
  • Kebab menu shows no data upon selection (screenshot)

Congrats on posting!

Hello!

First, please know that I moved your forum post to a forum that's more appropriate for the question.  Thank you for posting in the forums, though!  🙌🏽

It's quite rare to do something to fix an older version of DNN (or any other software platform) without forking the core code.  This is not recommended in any environment or system, as the forked code could expose you to so many more issues later when you want to upgrade.  This could include not being able to upgrade at all anymore, in some extreme cases.  (Not to mention, very likely unintentionally creating a security issue.)

We'd always recommend upgrading the most current release to see if the issue is still occurring.  (This step brings with it all sorts of benefits, short- and long-term.)  If the issue is still occurring, then create a clean instance of DNN in the same environment to see if it's happening there.  If it is, it may be a bug.  If not, then there is something in your DNN instance that may be causing the issue.  Either way, you know if you need to create a bug report that needs to be fixed, or you'll have more information to troubleshoot your website with.

Oh, nice catch!  I always run our local sites using SSL, so we never would have caught that!
