I'm setting up a second site in my dnn 9.10.02 installation. I tried the Multifunction and Hammerflex2 themes; both yielded "An error has occurred. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Couldn't load menu style 'BootStrapNav': System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path. at System.Security., etc. etc etc."
I uninstalled and reinstalled the themes a couple of times trying to figure it out; I activated Xcillion between tests, and it always worked.
After the second Hammerflex2 uninstall, the default page loaded, with
"Could Not Load Theme: /Portals/2-System/skins/hammerflex2/edit.ascx, Error: The file '/Portals/2-System/skins/hammerflex2/edit.ascx' does not exist." in red letters across the top.
Unfortunately, the Manage > Themes menu no longer had items in it, so I couldn't activate Xcillion.
In other words, I can't switch to a known good theme (Xcillion) because the menu is empty.
I'd be grateful to anyone willing to helop me get this site operational. Thanks for reading this!

if you are having access to the database (e.g. using SSMS - SQL Server Management Studio), you may edit name of default page Skin and module Container fow display and edition in database table "PortalSettings" (setting names start with "default". You need to enter proper paths, e.g. for settings named "DefaultPortalSkin" and "DefaultAdminSkin" use value "[G]Skins/Xcillion/Inner.ascx" and for settings named "DefaultPortalContainer" and "DefaultAdminContainer" use "[G]Containers/Xcillion/Title_h2.ascx".
