We like to integrate Nop Commerce in DNN... like in a virtual directory domain.com/assortment

I noticed this post but I don't know the status: https://www.nopcommerce.c...h-dnn-platform

Does anybody have experience with this? Can give me some advice where to start or look?

The problem is that Nop Commerce is a different application than DNN, and it uses ASP.Net MVC and not Webforms (as DNN). Therefore I think this is really tricky (if it would be possible anyway)... Integration with Umbraco (as said in the mentioned post) is propably easier, because it is based on MVC as well.

I would solve it like having the website Url something like www.mydomain.com and install NopCommerce as a different website like shop.mydomain.com.

      Happy DNNing!

Underlying issue: you want a great webshop. If you want something DNN, there is Live Storefront, Hotcakes & Open store (and others)
Reason to go with NopCommerce: it is powerful and really focused on commerce
Reason to go with DNN: the community is much more responsive and helpful
