    Hello

I am currently on DNN 9.7.02, I was wondering if I could upgrade directly to 9.8.1 and skip 9.8.0? Or do I need to up upgrade to DNN 9.8.0 first?

    Thank you.

      Hello

I have decided to upgrade in chronological order, after all, to ensure a smooth upgrade.

      Thank you

        Hi,

just to give my 2 cents after the weekend: I did upgrade a site (with no special stuff on it) from 9.4.x to 9.8.1 without any issues.

        Happy DNNing!

          Hello,

We are trying to upgrade from 9.0.1 to 9.8.0 and using the install.zip/upgradewizard.aspx.  The upgrade started but even after an hour the progressw was 5%only. We are seeing exceptions on backend. Any steps that need to be followed for  this upgrade ?

Upgrading directly from 9.0.1 to 9.8.0 is a bad idea. See https://dnndocs.com/conte...gested-upgrade-path/

As you are at 9.0.1, you should go first to 9.1.1 and then follow the upgrade path.

Oh, and be sure to read the release notes for all of the versions from 9.1.1 to 9.8.0 (or 9.8.1), including the versions that you skip to make sure that you don't miss anything.
