Problem with global settings

New Around Here

Long ago I set up DNN and used some containers somewhere in the global settings.  The container has long since been deleted but whenever I add an HTML module, it automatically tries to load the deleted container and causes all kinds of problems.  I can not find how to change this global setting to a current container.

I probably have a very old version of DNN and otherwise, I am happy with it

    platform 4.6

    Any help, please

Well... by any chance do you have a backup of the website before you add the container to the global settings? Maybe if you do have that backup you can replace the modified files and check it out.

I understand you're happy with the version you're currently using but if you stay in that version you're on a no-exit road. For long term the best scenario will be for you to consider jumping to a newer version of DNN.

You might want to check the theme itself.  Some themes might have had a default container assigned to the pane.  If it's there, it should be obvious.
