We have a new website installed Version: 9.11.1.277 however I can not remove the  (RC Version: 9.11.1.277) text from the head tag.We have added Title and description for each page  from page settings, and looked around the Site Settings, Security but I can not find it any ideas where that text might be coming from?

Welcome to Dore Plumbing and Heating (RC Version: 9.11.1.277)

    Thank you

First of all welcome to the DNN Community!

Second: "RC" is a release candidate, so you should not use this in a production environment. I hope you have not done too much already, get a copy of the final release and start from scratch.

AFAIR the version is only displayed in these beta or alpha versions, so this should also solve your problem. There is no way to upgrade from a RC to a final release, an RC should only be used in a development environment for testing purposes.

      Happy DNNing!

Thank you for your response, as the site has been built already we will upgrade it to the next  stable version, it is not a major issue.

        Kind Regards,

As I mentioned in my post: You can't upgrade from an RC.
